Hosted by Joseph Agostinelli, DPM, this training program is designed to promote bleeding control skills for the general public as well as prepare attendees to teach these skills in their communities.

The American College of Surgeons “Stop the Bleed" program provides the basic skills needed to respond to a mass casualty situation where life-threatening bleeding is most likely present. There will be a 30-minute didactic session followed by actual practical exercise on bleeding control. At the end of the course, a frameable certificate from the American College of Surgeons will be provided to each attendee.

There is no charge to attend this course, but pre-registration is required for entry and all registrants must be registered SAM 2024 attendees.
